Mystic Mandalas and Emotional Vortex: Art-November at Malaka

Romartika Art Decoded has launched its second phase of Art-November Group show at Malaka Art Gallery, Koregaon Park, Pune. The exhibition of paintings began with several sensational events. A Panel discussion on the topic, ‘Art is a jealous mistress’, took place with the Founder of Pune Art Movement - Mr. Anub George, Psychologist Dr Supriya Dhongde, Professor of ISI – Dr Amit Biswas and Author – Saikat Baksi as panel members. Renowned artists, Sharad Tarde and Suchita Tarde addressed the audience about various nuances of abstract expression. Dr Amit Biswas spoke about the connection between art and mathematics. Artist Saranya Ganguly painted with live music.

 

The Show was inaugurated by Dr Amit Biswas, Vinayak Bhorkade - the Head of Marketing of Godrej Properties, and Sweta Singh – Founder of Abira Arts, on the evening of November 16th among fanfare and celebration. The exhibition will remain open for visitors for fifteen days until 30th November ’24.

 

Seven artists showcased their unique styles and spirits in the exhibition. Gaurangi Mehta Shah’s expressionist human forms are both enigmatic and festive. Poulami Jagtap’s abstract expressions are swirling strokes of emotional vortex. Gitanjali Sengupta’s serene landscapes offer a window into peace and quietude. Mansi Sureka’s mandalas embody mystic focus with bright, contrasting dots that captivate viewers. Surmai Morgode’s canvases blend abstraction with Indian classical spirit. Nikita Garg’s neat landscapes have a translucent charm, and Aparajita Ambastha’s diverse paintings promise a great future.

 

This exhibition is a visual treat for art lovers.
